From Reddit to the Presidency: An Interview with Max, Leader of Ukraine

Thank you MakZmei for accepting my invitation for this interview. Before diving into the questions, could you please introduce yourself? Who are you in real life ?

My name is Max, 38, from Ukraine.

1) What brought you to WarEra and when did you discover this New World?

Reddit post, like 5 month ago, but than i didnt want to play and move on, second time when i saw call for ukrainians to help i decided try again.

2) Do you find yourself collaborating with friends in the game, or do you prefer to go solo?

This is social game. You cant realy be solo and be part of goverment. So you forced to interact.

3) If you were the President in real life, which players would you choose for key positions—Vice President, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of State, and Secretary of the Treasury?

I would mirror my current cabinet. I like my current cabinet activity.

4) What is your biggest personal motivation for leading the country?

Just keep it on map and grow our comunity.

5) What are your country's plans for the near future?

World domination, or Quiet agrarian country one of those, i don't remember exactly.

6) Who is your best ally in the game ?

Ukrainian people.

7) Do you plan to have a baby boom soon and expand your community with new players?

We hope for that, and actively working with socials we have access to and time for.

8) Which historical figure is your greatest role model in politics?

Probably Yaroslav Mudriy, who was great ruler in our history.

9) What is your favorite food?

Shaurma, Vareniki, Sirniki

10) If you were to recommend a movie or series, what would it be? And who is your favorite actor?

I generaly dont care about films or serials. And i dont have favorite actors.

11) Are you a fan of music? Who is your favorite singer and song?

12) What is your favorite sport and which club do you support?

I don't watch sport at all, sometimes i root for our National team in football and thats it.

13) If you had the chance to have lunch with a historical or fictional character for a day, who would you choose?

Stalin, so i can strangle the bastard with my own hands.

14) Imagine you’re planning a day out. Which one player from the game would you invite? (Just one)

i don't have anyone on my mind.

15) If you’d like, please share a memorable story—whether it’s funny, emotional, or something else from your experiences in the game or in real life.

I dont have any, last 4 years is grim.

16) What advice do you have for new and incoming players?

Stop recruinting workers, its not worth it.

17) Do you have any suggestions regarding the game?

Fix SR pls.

18) Are you satisfied with the recent changes in the game? On a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate the admins performance?

I rate patches itself 8, but priority is kinda 3, so overal 5.
