Hamster clasterization

Every time the server crashes in Warera, the Discord chat turns into a classic shitshow. The chat explodes with ALL CAPS "WHO KILLED THE HAMSTER?!", admins drop pics of melted laptops, and everyone mourns the death of yet another rodent. We've all just accepted that the game runs on hopes, dreams, and a single hamster.

But the player base is growing, and that one little guy gets instantly incinerated within the first three seconds after a patch. It's time to stop this monolith BS. I propose a proper solution - hamster clustering via Kubernetes.

Instead of one mortal martyr, we gather a massive horde managed by K8s.

The shelves with cages are nodes (our server hardware). The hamsters in wheels are pods (microservices). And watching over all of this is the Control Plane — basically an automated necromancer. It constantly checks their pulse. If the hamster in wheel #42 gets a heart attack from a spike in traffic, the system hits Press F, discards the poor guy, and drops a fresh clone from the box into the wheel within a millisecond. The chat won't even have time to notice the lag.

When a crowd rolls in and the player count goes to the moon, an admin has two options:

Vertical scale up We keep the old setup with one hamster but start aggressively pumping him with steroids and pre-workout, hoping he can solo terabytes of traffic.

Horizontal scale out The proper engineer way. Why torture one monster when you can just drop another 500 wheels next to it?

Now, even if half the rodents simultaneously drop dead from the overload, hundreds of remaining workers will just keep casually spinning the backend. No more caps lock in Discord, just pure uptime.
