A Look Back at 2025: The Year of the "Just Five More Minutes" Lie

Let’s be honest. If we had a coin for every time we told our families, "I just need to finish this one battle" and then proceeded to stay up until 3:00 AM arguing in global chat about resource prices, We’d be as rich as @6813b759efecdf9bab1950cb .

We’ve spent the last year mastering the art of "strategic clicking." We’ve built alliances that were supposed to last a thousand years, only for them to implode over who got the last region bonus. We’ve survived economic crashes worse than the real world, mostly caused by someone accidentally adding an extra zero to a grain sell order.

But we survived. Our countries stand (mostly).

New Year’s Resolutions We Definitely Won’t Keep

A new year means new resolutions! It’s time to promise ourselves we will be better, smarter, healthier players.

Here are the official WarEra Resolutions for 2026 (that we will abandon by January 3rd):

1. The "Sleep Schedule" Lie Resolution: "In 2026, I will prioritize a healthy eight hours of sleep and not set an alarm for 4:15 AM just to catch an enemy region off-guard."
Reality: you on Wednesday.

2. The "Diplomatic" Lie Resolution: "I will try to solve conflicts with diplomacy instead of immediately launching an all-out assault."
Reality: Peace was never an option.

Keep Grinding
