I’m still pretty new to WarEra, and I’ve hit a weird early-game decision point.
I keep looking at my cases and thinking:
“Maybe just one more opening…”
But every time I do it, it doesn’t really go well.
So far I’ve opened 11 cases:
8 common
3 uncommon

And I’m currently down around 15–20 gold(I expected 1 Rare with a bit of luck).
Meanwhile, I realized something simple:
If I just sell them instead, I would have a guaranteed ~3.4–3.7 gold each, which would actually help me a lot right now for early factory upgrades.
And that’s where the real problem starts.
Because now I’m stuck between:
safe progress (sell cases, build economy)
or gambling (hope for lucky pull, usually regret it)
Even worse…
I keep getting the urge to open “just a few more” cases.
So I wanted to ask you:
How do you actually resist opening cases when you know selling is MAYBE the smarter option?
Is there some rule you follow?
Do you just avoid looking at them?
Or do you accept the gamble and hope long-term evens it out?
Right now I feel like discipline is worth more than luck in this game.
And I’m trying to choose companies over temptation.
