After that, things started moving fast. We began talking almost every day, and soon it wasn't just university stuff anymore. We joked, talked about random things, and started hanging out whenever we got the chance. Basically, Plan B was working.
But I still had one problem: her boyfriend.
I needed to know how strong their relationship actually was, so I started asking her about him whenever I got the chance. And then I finally got some good news apparently, they had been arguing a lot lately.
I immediately told my friend.
He looked at me and said, "So we're finally getting somewhere?"
"Obviously."
Now we just needed to find out what they were fighting about.
Because if their relationship already had problems, I didn't need to destroy it.
I just needed to give it a little push.
So I started paying more attention whenever she mentioned him. At first, I didn't get much. She mostly complained about small things, but after a few conversations, I noticed something interesting.
She was starting to get tired of him.
That was enough for me.
I told my friend we needed to find the exact reason behind their arguments, and this time we didn't need to stalk the boyfriend. We just needed to wait for the right moment.
And that moment came sooner than I expected.
One evening, she texted me saying she was upset and asked if I could meet her.
I looked at the message for about five seconds before replying.
"Of course."
Then I called my friend.
