The labor line reconciles to the coin: 389,314 hardWorker badges at 5 gold each is 1,946,570, exactly the recorded figure, which is a small piece of evidence that the game's moneyWon field means what it says. The most valuable single badge in the game is babyBoomer at 100 gold, and it only exists as a bonus on top of ten referrals, so a referral is really worth 30 gold to a serious recruiter rather than 20. Spread across the whole census, medals have paid the average active account 234 gold. That is not a living.

Who collected it is a different question from who paid it out. MEDALS PER DAY

Every board above rewards age, because voted, premium and congressMember tick over on a schedule rather than on performance, so an account that keeps showing up out-collects one that started later. Dividing the shelf by the account's age in days corrects for that, and only accounts at least 60 days old qualify, because otherwise a two-week-old account with one good fortnight takes the board.

METHODS

Every badge count here is the game's own quantity field on a badge record, read from badgeCollection.getByUserId one account at a time, and every gold figure is the moneyWon field on those same records. Badges also carry a metadata array of individual award timestamps, truncated at the source: nothing in it predates mid-December 2025, on accounts created as far back as January 2024. That array cannot support an award history or a rate, so this piece computes nothing from it.

The walk read the citizen list of all 180 countries and returned 18,205 accounts. Reading level, country, creation date and last connection for each of them, then applying the three filters, left 13,842. The crawl pin of 2026-08-05 11:41:39 UTC was fixed before any request went out and every filter was evaluated against it, so logging in mid-crawl could not change an account's own eligibility; the profile fields themselves arrived after that instant and are not a simultaneous snapshot. The three-day rule is gameConfig.user.isInactiveAfterDays, the game's own definition. Where the badge endpoint returned null the crawler stored an empty object, which is why those 210 rows read as empty and cannot be told apart from real empty shelves.

Two checks ran before publication. The battle-rankings crawl produced an independent battleTop1 floor for four accounts, including the top two on the overall board, and every floor landed at or under the badge count. The citizen walk was measured against the game's own countryActivePopulation for all 180 countries and came out at least as large in each.

Printed totals equal the sum of the printed rows in every table above, and where prose quotes a total it is the total for that board rather than for the game. Country names come from the project's country table; each player cell is the canonical profile URL from the report. Everything was pulled on 2026-08-05, and out/medals/medals.json holds the per-account artifact behind every number.

What the report counts is a lifetime badge shelf for a filtered, recently connected cohort. It does not reconstruct the history that produced those shelves.
