A practical guide based on current War Era mechanics and community knowledge.
Are you a new player in War Era and constantly wondering:
“Why am I always broke?”
The answer is usually simple: you're trying to become powerful before becoming financially stable.
If your goal is to level up quickly, build wealth, and eventually become powerful in war, your first priority should be your economy.
Here is the strategy I recommend.
1️⃣ Get a Good Job First
Your first reliable source of income is your job. Go to the Companies section and look for a good-paying job.
Don't look only at the salary.
Pay attention to:
- 💰 Salary per production point
- 🟢 Income tax
- ⚡ How efficiently you can use your Energy
A job with a slightly lower salary but much lower taxation can sometimes be better than the highest-paying job.
Your Energy is valuable, so don't waste it on a terrible salary.
2️⃣ Don't Rush Into War
This is probably the biggest mistake new players make. Weapons, ammunition and military equipment cost money.
If you spend all your money trying to increase your damage at level 10–15, you can become a strong fighter with a weak economy.
Instead:
Build your economy first → make money → then build your military.
Once your economy is producing enough income, you'll have much more freedom to spend on war.
3️⃣ Companies Are Your Real Wealth
A job gives you income. A company gives you an opportunity to build wealth.
Your long-term objective should be to increase the number of companies you own and improve their production.
Think of the process like this:
Gold → Company → Production → Products → Market → Gold
Then repeat. The stronger your production system becomes, the less dependent you are on a salary.
4️⃣ Avoid Hiring Workers Too Early
This is one of the easiest ways for a new player to lose money. Before hiring workers, calculate:
Worker salary + raw material cost
versus
Final product selling price
If your costs are higher than your selling price, you're paying money to produce something that loses money.
Early in the game, doing the production yourself can be much more efficient. Don't hire workers simply because you can.
Profit comes first.
5️⃣ Build Your Own Production Chain
One of the best ways to improve your margins is to produce your own raw materials.
For example:
Raw material → Intermediate product → Finished product
Instead of constantly buying everything from the market, build a chain where your companies supply each other. This gives you much more control over your costs.
The market should be a tool you use—not something you depend on for everything.
6️⃣ Upgrade Automation
Automation is extremely valuable for an economic player. The idea is simple:
Your companies should keep producing while you're offline. Instead of spending all your Energy manually producing everything, invest in your companies and automation when it makes financial sense.
Passive production + active work = much better economic growth
7️⃣ Spend Skill Points Carefully
If your goal is to become rich first, don't put all your early skill points into combat. A good economic direction is:
Production → Energy → Entrepreneurship
Then increase your company capacity when you reach the required thresholds. You can always focus more heavily on combat later.
Your early levels are about building the foundation.
🚀 The New Player Formula
If I started a new War Era account today, my general plan would be:
1. Get a good job
⬇️
2. Complete missions
⬇️
3. Invest in economic skills
⬇️
4. Build companies
⬇️
5. Improve automation
⬇️
6. Create production chains
⬇️
7. Reinvest profits
⬇️
8. Build a strong military later
This approach may look slower at first.
It isn't. You're building an account that can generate the money needed for everything else.
💡 Final Advice
Don't ask:
“How can I become the strongest player today?”
Ask:
“How can I make my account stronger every day?”
A player with a strong economy can eventually buy the equipment, support wars, build companies, trade, and compete at a much higher level. Build the economy first. Fight later.
