It's not fun anymore, and I can't really figure out why.
Politics is boring. You spend 90% of your time dealing with idiots, including the possibility that I'm one of them. The alliances are already well established, and even though there was an update intended to address this issue (basically just a nerf to bonuses), it won't really change anything. There are the oppressed and the oppressors, and nobody seems willing to truly shake things up.
The economy is boring. It's always the same routine: developing companies is too easy, making money is too easy. You don't even have to put in any effort to reach the optimal production bonus because the game automatically tells you what to do. Produce, sell, make money. That's it.
War might still be the most enjoyable part of the game, but I'm not even sure about that anymore. At this level, everything feels too easy: you take a few contracts, earn some currency, deal a million damage by mindlessly spamming the same button, open crates, dismantle equipment, and craft some random purple gear. Within a month, you're sitting at 5k values in equipments, and if you feel like min-maxing your profile, you can easily double that.
I don't know. At some point, the game just becomes too repetitive.
What's happening to me? What am I doing wrong?
