These people have no idea what they're doing.
I went to a restaurant.
I ordered a steak.
The waiter brought it to me.

It hadn't increased.

I stopped at a gas station.
I filled up my car.
The price was higher than last time.
I asked the cashier why.
He said the price had increased.
I thought about it for a moment.
"Some power players must be manipulating the market".
He looked at me for a bit then left.
I went to a clothing store.
I found a shirt I liked.
I asked how much it cost.
The employee told me.
I asked how much damage it did.
She asked what I meant.
I explained that I wanted to know whether it was better than my current shirt.
She said she doesn't know.
I went to a bakery.
There were six different types of bread.
I asked the employee whether they had enough stock to last through the week.
He said yes..
I asked whether they were selling it all at once or holding some back for a better price.
He stared at me.
