Critical Note on Market Data: All calculations, Return on Investment (ROI) metrics, and milestone recommendations in this guide are strictly calculated using current market prices: Steel = 1.6 coins, and Concrete = 1.6 coins. These values are subject to market shifts. Always verify live tickers before executing large-scale investments.

When managing an early-stage economic empire with 2 base companies, every single coin counts. The ultimate metric of success is efficiency: how many coins do you spend to gain a real passive production point?

To make this guide universal, all calculations below are based on a 0% Production Bonus (Base Game Stats), where each level milestone contributes exactly 24 real passive production points per day.

Strategic Rule: If you operate in a region with a 30%, 40%, 50%, or 60% production bonus, your capital recovery will scale up much faster. If your current rates are low, it is highly recommended to relocate your infrastructure to high-bonus regions to optimize these baseline numbers.

Vertical Upgrades: Cost Per Real Point

Upgrading an existing company increases its level, consuming Steel. Progression efficiency degrades heavily at higher tiers

[VERTICAL UPGRADES - COST PER REAL POINT (0% BONUS)]

• Level 2: 20 Steel (32 coins) --> ROI Cost: 1.33 coins

• Level 3: 40 Steel (64 coins) --> ROI Cost: 2.67 coins

• Level 4: 80 Steel (128 coins) --> ROI Cost: 5.33 coins

• Level 5: 160 Steel (256 coins) --> ROI Cost: 10.67 coins

• Level 6: 320 Steel (512 coins) --> ROI Cost: 21.33 coins

• Level 7: 640 Steel (1024 coins) --> ROI Cost: 42.6

7 coins.

Horizontal Expansion: Cost Per Real Point (From 3rd Slot Onwards)

Expanding introduces new Level 1 slots (adding 24 base points). This structural path consumes Concrete, scaling up linearly by 50 units for each additional slot purchased.

[HORIZONTAL EXPANSION - COST PER REAL POINT (0% BONUS)]

• 3rd Company: 150 Concrete (240 coins) --> ROI Cost: 10.00 coins

• 4th Company: 200 Concrete (320 coins) --> ROI Cost: 13.33 coins

• 5th Company: 250 Concrete (400 coins) --> ROI Cost: 16.67 coins

• 6th Company: 300 Concrete (480 coins) --> ROI Cost: 20.00 coins

• 7th Company: 350 Concrete (560 coins) --> ROI Cost: 23.33 coins

• 8th Company: 400 Concrete (640 coins) --> ROI Cost: 26.67 coins

• 9th Company: 450 Concrete (720 coins) --> ROI Cost: 30.00 coins

• 10th Company: 500 Concrete (800 coins) --> ROI Cost: 33.33 coins

• 11th Company: 550 Concrete (880 coins) --> ROI Cost: 36.67 coins

• 12th Company: 600 Concrete (960 coins) --> ROI Cost:

40.00 coins

The Optimized Roadmap: Path to Maximum Efficiency (UPDATED)

By tracking the lowest cost per ROI unit, we establish the absolute mathematical path to scale your business.

📍 Phase 1: Early Core Development

• Action: Immediately upgrade your 2 base companies to Level 4.

• The Math: Level 2, 3, and 4 upgrades cost very little per ROI unit:

$1.33 \rightarrow 2.67 \rightarrow 5.33$

This is the cheapest production spike available. STOP once both reach Level 4.

📍 Phase 2: The First Structural Pivot

• Action: Buy your 3rd Company slot and push it vertically to Level 4.

• The Math: Buying the 3rd slot and leveling it to Tier 4 has an average efficiency of under 6 coins per point, which beats the cost of a single Tier 5 upgrade (10.67).

📍 Phase 3: The Horizontal Rush (The Level 4 Meta)

• Action: DO NOT upgrade to Level 5 yet. Sequentially purchase the 4th, 5th, and 6th companies, and immediately upgrade each one to Level 4.

• The Math: Taking a new company from scratch to Level 4 costs 544 coins (land + upgrades) and yields 96 points, resulting in an efficiency of $5.67$ coins per point. This is twice as efficient as pushing existing factories to Level 5 ($10.67$ coins per point). The cheap cost of early vertical tiers completely absorbs the concrete price spike up to the 6th slot.

📍 Phase 4: The Level 5 & 6 Consolidation Block

• Action: Once you hold 6 companies all sitting at Level 4, halt horizontal expansion. Now, bring all 6 companies to Level 5, and then directly to Level 6.

• The Math: Pushing your infrastructure to Level 5 (10.67) and Level 6 (21.33) is now cheaper than purchasing the 7th company slot, which spikes past 23 coins per point due to concrete scaling.

📍 Phase 5: Endgame Domination

• Action: Sequentially purchase companies 7 through 12, leveling them up to Level 6 to keep pace. Only trigger Level 7 upgrades once all 12 plots are fully saturated.

• The Math: Level 7 upgrades drain a massive 42.67 coins per unit. It is much more expensive than buying your 12th company plot (40.00 coins), making it your absolute final milestone:

$42.67 > 40.00$
