INTERVIEW | Benesum

MeteJuly 11, 2026entertainment

Hello Dear WarEra Community,

Today, I am here with the person I find most fascinating in this game: https://app.warera.io/user/6980baba164c1577a1bc18a1 who possesses an incredible amount of wealth compared to his level. Following a reader's request from my previous interview, I put him on my radar. Even during this short period of tracking him, Benesum has managed to climb even higher in the rankings. Given this steady progress, I have no doubt that we will see Benesum challenging for the top spot in the very near future. I am immensely grateful to him for accepting my interview invitation and answering my questions with great patience. Enjoy the read!

How did you get started with this game, and what was it that ultimately hooked you?

A buddy of mine convinced me to play multiple times by saying "it’s just 5 minutes of clicking." However, once I discovered the market, that’s when things really took off. Thanks to the encouragement and rivalry of other people trying to reach Rank 1 in wealth, I am still as active today as I was in the beginning.

What are your thoughts on the future of the game? Do you think the community will continue to grow?

Since I started, the player base has grown significantly. Recently, though, there have been some declines. I don't actively monitor the average player count. However, it's more important that new players keep coming in, because people quit for all sorts of different reasons. Especially among newcomers, the retention rate (the ratio of those who stick around) is rather low. The game definitely still has the potential to increase its player count, but I think for now it will remain at the current player level with a slight loss.

Is there anything you feel is currently missing from the game?

One of the reasons the game is so attractive is that you don't have to invest a massive amount of time due to thousands of complex mechanics. I think the game shouldn't get much more complicated than it currently is; otherwise, the target audience would shift from casual players who just check in once in a while to strictly ultra-active players.

It’s almost impossible not to run into your username in the game. How much of your day do you dedicate to it?

Almost the entire time I am awake. I’ve tried to invest less time multiple times, but if I see good opportunities, I spend more time to capitalize on them. Additionally, my role as the MoE (Ministry of Economy) also takes up time.

You mentioned that your role at the Ministry of Economy is time-consuming and tiring; do you plan to continue this duty in the future?

I think it's good to give multiple people the opportunity to hold ministerial positions. Especially since I am also trying to scale back the time I spend on this game a bit more.

Are you considering running for a different ministry or perhaps the presidency in the future?

I currently have no interest in taking on any other position.

Could you tell us about the current state of Germany, both in terms of its player community and from a political perspective?

It's difficult to give a concrete answer to that. Currently, the mood in Germany is good because we've had so many successful battles lately. For the most part, I try to stay out of political topics and, honestly, I don't have much interest in them anyway.

I personally find it highly unlikely, but there are some rumors circulating that you might be using a "bot." What would you like to say regarding this?

There are always people who accuse you without any reason. I don't use a bot, but even if I write that here, the haters won't believe it anyway

I condemn people who use scripts/bots to gain an advantage; otherwise, you might as well just watch an NPC vs NPC match in other games.

You are in a remarkably good position for your level in terms of "wealth." Having looked at your profile with admiration—and considering you also spent some time as a "fighter" a while back—what can you tell us about your journey?

My primary goal was to support Germany, which is why I tagged along for the first 3 wars. However, I skipped this current one because I realized that I could "relatively" quickly finally reach Rank 1. As soon as I secure Rank 1, I will actively fight again and possibly aim for Rank 1 in DMG (Damage) as well. Though that will probably take an estimated year or longer, and who knows if I'll still be playing by then.

I’ve analyzed your profile as thoroughly as a jealous ex-partner; I’ve tracked most of your moves and tried to learn a thing or two from them. What would you recommend to new and enthusiastic players like myself?

Don't invest too much time into the market; you can still make profits with very little time investment. Additionally, wealth alone doesn't do much in this game; it must also be utilized so that a benefit outside of the rankings is achieved. And if you ever realize that you've made a bad decision on the market, sometimes you just have to sell at zero profit or a small loss if the price is dropping rapidly. The alternative would be to hold the product until it rises again.
