An Official Address from the Desk of Shmoke_n_Shniff

Citizens of Ireland, neighbors of the world, and survivors of EvilEra the path of darkness is finally coming to an end.

For too long our nation was shrouded in a mist of unnecessary villainy. Under the regime of the con man formerly known as @69b03a0ee5230b35c2860968 (who embraced the dark side as KyleTheEvil) and my own misguided stint as Shmoke_n_Shniff_666, Ireland strayed from its path of lovability. We traded our charm for chaos and our Guinness for global grievances. We got a little too obsessed with Greenland’s beautiful fish…

The Greenland Debacle and the Flight to Kuwait

The tipping point of our collective descent into madness was the ill-fated attempt to annex Greenland and subjugate their fish into slavery to build Kyle a new home. This campaign, fueled by craziness and a fundamental misunderstanding of Arctic geography, was a complete failure. Not only did we fail to secure any territory, but the botched invasion nearly resulted in the total loss of our own sovereign territory. The few fish we captured only spoke Danish so we weren’t even able to use them effectively!

In a moment of clarity I attempted to "retire" President @69b03a0ee5230b35c2860968 via a standard evil political move… An assassination attempt. In a stroke of unfortunate luck, he survived and has reportedly fled to Kuwait to reflect on his sins (and likely his lack of an affordable home).

A Return to Emerald Roots

Effective immediately, I am officially renouncing the "_666" suffix. It was a phase, it was edgy, and to be honest, it was cringe. I return to you simply as the Shmoke_n_Shniff you know (and hopefully love).

Furthermore, the national color is being purged of the evil Indigo. Ireland is returning to its rightful, beautiful Emerald Green. We are no longer an EvilEra Ireland. We are once again that charming, slightly chaotic island that everyone wants to grab a pint with.

The Path Forward: Upcoming Elections

I will hold the fort during this transition of virtue, but the future belongs to the people. We are setting the stage for a new era of leadership, untainted by the previous darkness. The upcoming elections will decide who leads our return to the light.
