The battle for Leinster may have ended in defeat, but what I have witnessed over the past four months is nothing short of a national revival.
The full defender rankings from the battle are as follows:
1. Germany - 80.96 million
2. Ireland - 34.21 million
3. Portugal - 27.88 million
4. Sweden - 26.48 million
5. Yemen - 12.03 million
6. Suriname - 8.69 million
7. United Kingdom - 8.53 million
8. Namibia - 8.11 million
9. Congo - 7.37 million
10. Saudi Arabia - 5.52 million
I want to extend a special and sincere thank you to KyleTheTank for his coordination of these battles. His work with BEER, our alliance, has been instrumental in preparing Irish troops to fight at their best. Without his dedication, our performance on the battlefield would not be where it is today.
Let me put this into perspective for the Irish people. Just four months ago, Ireland was a nation of roughly 25 active players. When every single one of those players went full throttle, we could muster around 4 million total damage across an entire battle. In Leinster, a smaller portion of our active players put out over 34 million damage on their own. That is not just growth. That is a transformation.
I also want to say this openly. Kyle and I have had our go's at each other. We have clashed. But despite that, I would not trust Ireland or the Ministry of Defence to anyone else in this game. He does not hold my outbursts against me because he knows I am an Ireland first kind of man. I am passionate about my country, sometimes to a fault, and Kyle understands that.
I believe Kyle is one of the main driving factors behind how far Ireland has come. His time helping build the UPI across two terms with myself and PropulsionFalls under Shmoke_n_Shniff as President has been invaluable. From here on out, I will be giving my support 110 percent to Kyle. That being said, I will continue to crash out in voicenotes when needed. Some things never change.
I am incredibly proud of what Ireland has become. We have come a long way from being stunted as a country by those who sought to hold us down with racism and division. Those days are behind us. We are better now. We are stronger now. And most importantly, we are equal now.
To every Irish soldier who fought in Leinster, to every ally who stood beside us, and to KyleTheTank and BEER for making this possible, thank you. The capital may have fallen, but the Irish spirit has never been higher.
This is not our end. This is our foundation. This is the rise of a new Éireann.
