After resisting the Vatican’s first attack and successfully counterattacking into Vatican territory, Italy has made a historic decision:
From today onward, Italy is officially a secular state.
The era of religious influence over Italian politics is over. The Pope, the Vatican, and the Church will no longer dictate the direction of the nation.
A new political phase now begins.
Among the first proposed reforms:
- Legalization of cannabis
- Legalization and regulation of prostitution in licensed establishments
- Abolition of the Catholic Church’s 8x1000 privileges
- Churches becoming subject to standard property taxation (IMU)
This is not an attack on faith.
It is the separation of faith from state power.
Italy will remain a nation of culture, history, and spirituality, but from now on, its laws will belong to its citizens alone.
