Kenya and South Africa....Again

While we peacefully hugged our blankets in the cold of night, the two lovebirds re-ignited their passion. This is not the first, and by my calculations, certainly not the last.

Lemme remind you of:

a. Lovers: RSA carry out the liberation of African territories including Kenya since they had the superior numbers. At this point most of Africa lacks local players

b. Enemies: RSA and India are beefing. RSA uses that to attack and occupy Kenya to "protect African sovereignty".

c. Lovers: Discussions calm this situation. Kenya acknowledges India was a menace. They do point out a NAP with India so the invasion would have never taken place anyway, maybe. All in all, water under the bridge now. They kiss and make up.

Mind you, RSA still holds Kenya's cores.

Cartmeymey: India were ready to push back into the horn of Africa, just the other day and the only reason they have not done so is because of South Africa's presence.
Regardless of all of this, we were still wanting to work with you instead of against you, we have an active vote in congress to put forth a proposal to free your lands.

Kenya's position: If South Africa's position is truly rooted in protecting African stability, then cooperation with Kenya rather than maintaining a military presence within our borders would better reflect that principle. Honestly, Kenya remains open to security collaboration including the situation involving Somalia.

d. Enemies: Issues arise during the next phase of the relationship. RSA does not support Kenya having Somalia as a bestie, Kenya does not like that RSA have Burundi as a bestie. Why you ask, jealousy maybe? I do not know. Why do any of these countries care about each other's besties anyway?

Goes without saying, but RSA still holds Kenya's cores. Bear with me.

e. Lovers: Back once again after a couple of discussions. Two of Kenya's regions released, an understanding present for the rest, no revolts from Kenya. In fact, even Rwanda is no longer participating. Companies are moved to enjoy hijacked income. We are once again stable. Alas!!, 'Twas the calm before the storm

f. Enemies: On the 9th of May, multiple resistances are staged, this time involving Tanzania, Rwanda, Somalia. Heck, even Congo joins in on the fun.

South Africa claws back every region they released. Silver lining, they maintain it is not an act of war.

South Africa: "We will be extending our priority over Kenya for another 24 hours by attacking western Kenya. This is not a sign of aggression, just simply how the game works. We cannot allow our priority to lapse without an agreement in place."

g. Friends??: RSA simply release all Kenyan cores, no deals no conditions. The article cites they are tired. Is this the end of the chaotic couple??

This would be best explained by this article by GuerillaBlitzkrieg /article/6a00bdc7abb7bb6e24c54c66

h. Rwanda the third party

Over the course of time, Rwanda has become an outspoken issue. Citizens from the south enter and stage a civil war to take control out of nowhere. They lose.

They then shift to diplomacy offering to pay. The Rwandan government is dissatisfied with their conduct. They do not support using violence then only resorting to diplomacy once you fail. Treaties are broken, money is eaten and the horns of war blasted.

To observe the Rwandan shifts from RSA's perspective, refer to their MoFA here: /article/6a1168c417cd582c1267d95e

i. And just like that: Ke-RSA beef 4.1

As a non-certified therapist, this is a very toxic relationship. Both love and hate to fight, both love and hate to argue, both love and hate peace and they can neither live with each other nor live without each other. Cilian Murphy said,

"How can it be both? It can't, but it is. Its paradoxical and yet it works."
