Khajiit lost their Teleportation - Please fix

Binya_ElsweyrSeptember 16, 2026entertainment

This one has been informed that wars now require travel. This one objects.

Khajiit has discovered a problem.

Apparently...

THE WORLD HAS DISTANCES.

This one was not informed.

For more than a month, This one has happily travelled across Africa, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and several islands without once considering how this was happening.

Battle in Morocco?

Khajiit is there.

Orders change. Cuba needs help?

Khajiit is there.

Something catches fire in Yemen?

Give this one perhaps twelve seconds.

Khajiit is there.

This was a perfectly functional system.

Nobody asked questions.

Least of all Khajiit.

Then WarEra updated.

And apparently this one cannot teleport anymore.

KHAJIIT WOULD LIKE TO FILE A COMPLAINT

There is now something called movement.

To participate in a battle, this one must actually travel to the region where the battle is happening.

Travel. To places.

Using stamina or oil.

This one has several concerns.

Firstly, this explains why maps have always had so much empty space between the countries.

This one had assumed it was decorative.

Secondly, Argentina is apparently nowhere near Morocco.

This feels poorly designed.

Thirdly, Khajiit has spent the last five weeks fighting across several continents and would very much like somebody to explain how this one was getting there before.

Was Binya teleporting? Was there a plane?

Did someone put Khajiit in a box and mail him?

These are questions that should perhaps have been asked earlier.

THIS CREATES PROBLEMS

Previously, military strategy was simple.

Open battles. Find orders.

Go there. Shoot.

Occasionally shoot wrong side.

Realise mistake. Stop.

Shoot correct side.

Receive new orders.

Immediately appear several thousand kilometres away.

Continue shooting.

It was elegant.

Now this one must consider things like:

Where is Binya? Where is the battle?

How much stamina does this one have?

How much oil does this one have?

Why is the commander suddenly screaming about Cuba when this one has only just arrived in North Africa?

These are logistical questions.

Khajiit does not like logistical questions.

Khajiit likes rifles.

COMMANDERS, PLEASE TAKE NOTE

There will also need to be some changes to how orders are given.

“This one needs you in Cuba.”

Very good.

“This one needs you in Cuba immediately.”

Potentially problematic.

“This one needs you in Cuba immediately, but you are currently in Yemen.”

This sounds suspiciously like your problem.

Khajiit will begin travelling.

Khajiit will arrive when Khajiit arrives.

Please keep the battle alive until then.

THERE MAY BE ONE SMALL PROBLEM WITH THE WEEKLY REPORT

This one has spent five weeks writing about the wars seen through this one's scope.

Last week alone, that scope somehow found its way into 25 battles scattered across the world.

This week may be different.

Not because Binya has grown tired.

Not because the rifle has gone cold.

Not because this one has finally decided that perhaps twenty-five battles in seven days is excessive.

No.

Khajiit has encountered commuting.

For the first time, choosing where to fight means choosing where to go.

Following one front might mean being very far away when another erupts.

An order arriving from another continent is no longer simply another tab to open.

And if this one runs out of stamina halfway there...

Well.

Perhaps next week's article will be:

FROM THIS ONE'S SCOPE: A VERY INTERESTING PATCH OF ROAD

For now, This one has packed the rifle.

The notebook is ready.

There is apparently oil involved.

And this one is preparing to embark upon the greatest challenge yet faced during this career as a wandering war correspondent:

Transportation.

Five weeks.

Dozens of battles.

Several continents.

And only now has Khajiit discovered that walking exists.

This one already misses teleportation.
