My fellow Belgians,
I have decided to run for congress to help support and strengthen our beautiful country. I joined this game a few months ago at the end of the first Swedish-German campaign. During this time I have seen it all: from the NAP negotiations with Germany, over the second Swedish campaign, to the rapid overseas expansion and back to our current consolidation phase.
While I had faith in what the governments of those times were doing, I always remained curious to the rationale behind these plans and to the discussions happening behind the closed doors of our government. That curiosity led me, together with a few compatriots, on an adventure to Central Africa, where we took control of the country.
I was elected president and had the opportunity to explore diplomacy firsthand. After a failed expansion attempt and the diplomatic tensions that followed, I decided it was time to return home. It was a valuable experience, and now that the dust has settled, I’m ready to contribute and continue learning as part of the government of a powerhouse like Belgium.
What I promise you if I were to be elected:
To always act in the best interests of our country
To remain approachable and open to questions, from game mechanics to politics (within the limits of declassified information)
To promote caution and stability instead of reckless, bold moves
To turn the unwritten norm of providing koffiekoeken to bijzitters during elections into a law
To be decisive and swift in voting on laws (as reflected by my consistent track record as one of the top weekly “help button” clickers in my MU)
Thank you for your consideration, NoKoffiekoekenForYou
