Losercity | Digital graveyard

It was a long path, a long adventure, and it finally arrived to a climax. Losercity became TOP 1 richest MU.

But at what cost?

I made this MU without any special thoughts, even the name was silly reference to a subreddit, because I lacked creativity. But to my suprise, people grew attached to it, including myself.

We were never really good at battles and such, but tried to maintain a sort of freedom. I suppose this comfortable environment, is what resulted in such outcome...

Being an MU owner meant, that I had to part ways with many good "battle friends" or simply, friends, but I could only move forward. It was not just about me, it was about Losercity.

Arriving back to the title of this post, one might wonder – "what exactly digital graveyard means in this context?".

It's actually quite simple, for some of the players, this was probably their last MU in this game.

They were supporting Losercity until the very last moment of their playtime. And now, their names will be etched on the donation board for as long as this game will be active.

Extra

Below are 2 screenshots of last messages, that Losercity's commanders left before retiring.

To me, this induces a feeling of melancholy... Even as they were minutes away from never returning back, they were still interested in growth of Losercity. It's hard to put my appreciation into words, but I deeply thank anyone who is or was involved with Losercity.

Conclusion

The reign of Losercity as TOP 1 richest MU will probably end as quickly as it started, but I am not mad or disappointed about that. I believe there are MUs that are more worthy of this title, although, be careful, because Losercity has fangs ;).

At the end of the day, even I was considering about taking a leave for good. However, this is not a problem of the game itself, I think it's only natural, that with time "daily activity" games might appear tiresome. For all it's flaws, I still enjoy playing it, the community is very welcoming.

Even if I will retire one day too, Losercity will keep being active under new owner. I will make sure the next leader of Losercity will be competent to lead it.

I do not expect many reads, just felt like sharing, thanks for reading.
