Market Update: Ammo Meta Shakes Up, Burkina Faso Surges, and Global Net Wage Contraction (09/07/26)

DAAPJuly 9, 2026economy

Hi eco players of War Era,

In case you missed our last summary from two days ago, you can catch up here: https://app.warera.io/article/6a4d373090265af86351e0ad

I hope you have all been earning excellent returns over the past two days! Industrial vacancies get filled, and new national contenders have emerged recently. Here is your summary of profitability and wage updates:

Figure 1: Product Profitability Ranking, sorted by peak Profit per PP (UTC)

Ammo prices remain quite high across the board. Following recent economic shifts, the production bonus vacancy left in the Ammo sector has been filled by Ecuador and Cyprus. While Ecuador is tied with Cyprus on raw production bonuses (both sitting at 40%), Ecuador holds a clear competitive advantage for corporate owners due to its lower national tax rate.

Concurrently, Light Ammo has a new market leader in Burkina Faso. Boasting a massive 50% total production bonus, this surge has driven Light Ammo's overall profitability up to third place in today's profitability rankings.

Additionally, Fish remains very stable and lucrative as the deposit in Greenland has around 4 days remaining; do give it a try for your supply stockpiling.

On a side note, the market price of Paper has jumped well beyond the actual cost increases, sending its profitability climbing to third place in the profitability ranking.

Top Four Products in Profit/pp (Passive AE Income/New Hire Starting Wages)

For corporate owners running low-maintenance setups with zero manual workers, or those looking to calculate the best gross break-even baselines for new hires, these are today's premier options:

  1. Ammo (Ecuador/Cyprus): 0.134 BTC/pp

  2. Fish (Greenland/Iceland): 0.130 BTC/pp

  3. Light Ammo: 0.130 BTC/pp

  4. Paper: 0.129 BTC/pp

Figure 2: Regional Wage Ranking, sorted by Top Net Wages (>= 0.120 BTC/pp)

The global Top Net Wage Ceiling has contracted slightly to 0.131 BTC/pp, driven by widespread international volatility and generally higher regional tax rates across the newly active production hub.

The historically stable Mysterious Plant nodes in Comoros have climbed to secure the joint-number-one spot in Top Net Wages, tying perfectly with Finnish Oil. The Antsiranana region is an excellent choice, though the secure node deposit is on track to deplete in roughly 20 hours. Keep a very close eye on your company's movement if you choose to relocate your company here.

Oil in Finland is undoubtedly today's premier choice for specialisation-oriented industry. Offering the highest specialisation bonus in the fuel sector, paired with a whopping low income tax rate of just 3%, employers in Finland can offer top-tier take-home packages to their workers without running a deficit.

Top Five Countries or Regions in Net Wages

For employers who want to retain full fidelity workers by providing premium net wages while safeguarding their profit margins, or for employees looking to scout a more well-paying industry, these are today's premier operational hubs:

  1. Mysterious Plant (Antsiranana, Comoros): 0.131 BTC/pp (deposit has ~20 hours remaining)

  2. Oil (Finland): 0.131 BTC/pp (Premier Oil production hub with low 3% tax)

  3. Paper (Liberia): 0.130 BTC/pp

  4. Ammo (Ecuador): 0.130 BTC/pp (Beats Cyprus due to a lower 10% tax rate)

  5. Petroleum (Mexico): 0.130 BTC/pp

Quick Guide: How to Read the Metrics

(For a deeper dive, check out my previous comprehensive guide https://app.warera.io/article/6a2dbfa8bf1497024a04a6a4.)

1. Profit per PP (/Top Hiring Wages): Dictates your raw margin when utilising Automated Engines (AE) without workers. Higher on the list = better passive returns.

2. Top Gross Wages (Full Fidelity): The break-even ceiling for full-fidelity workers (stayed for 10+ days). Use this to progressively scale up your new hire wages to maximise employee retention.

3. Top Net Wages (Full Fidelity)

  • For Bosses: The absolute maximum net wage you can offer without running a deficit. Excellent for scouting company relocation regions.

  • For Workers: A benchmark to check if your current employer is paying you fairly, or if it's time to switch sectors.

Reminder: Both Figure 1 and Figure 2 are real-time market snapshots, which use the current market average price. Because the game economy fluctuates constantly, these numbers will continue to shift.
