Following our last reporting https://app.warera.io/article/6a25ac76c551dcc8466bd056 a lot has changed on the Arabian Peninsula and environ. Firstly, following their success in Lahsa, Iraqi Armed forces opted to push deeper into Saudi territory, into the capital Riyad. Artillery shelling has been heard in the capital and although the city remains under Saudi hands at the time of the writing, analysts look to its fall imminent, seeing the Saudi forces attacked both from east and the west.

Iraqi general has described the expansionist move as a justified act of liberation of Arabic homeland in line with the MoFA's declaration of War yesterday https://app.warera.io/article/6a2596efca14fa39cd5c2581 also pointing to the intelligence reports indicating a stockpile of chemical weapons. Iraqi general did not comment on whether they were cooperating with the Turkish forces in the ground at this time, but our correspondents have pointed to a joint operations room established in Aleppo by Iraqi and Turkish delegations to coordinate war efforts against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On the western side of the peninsula, Turkish forces began an aerial bombing campaign over using Jordanian territories, striking the Al Jawf governorate of Saudi Arabia. Turkish ground forces haven't been sighted yet, but the analysts point to a broader expansion down the line towards the operational goals of securing Hejaz. As the city of Riyad falls in the east, Saudi forces may field a stronger resistance in their second most fortified city of Jeddah.

The attacks came also heralded a series of unrest and resistance all across the Persian Gulf, culminating in calls for independence in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iran, reportedly began in cooperation of each other. Whether Iraq can contain the coordinated rebellions 5 of its territories begs the question if the war against Saudis will end up benefiting Baghdad or begin a wave of collapse in its Arabian and Persian area of control.

Turkey is also dealing with its own fair share of rebellions in a wholly different theater in Crimea, with reports of Ukrainian rebels fielding a shock and awe tactic in Simferopol, blocking Turkish forces' entry from the Kerch Bridge side. The Ukrainian act of rebellion pointed to possible cooperation with the Gulf monarchies and the Ukrainian government in exile.

Lastly all while KSA is being attacked by both sides, Royal forces of Oman have been spotted crossing the border into Eastern Yemen and Establishing checkpoints deep within Yemen. While no official statement came from Muscat, the situation is fast escalating, and the sparsely populated eastern Yemen may soon find itself after Omani governance. Oman, remaining as the one gulf monarch to cooperate with Baghdad, might soon find itself in a king maker position if it succeeds in it capitalizes on its successes in Yemen. Stay tuned for more as we try to cover the sudden collapse of peace in the Middle East.
