Military Exercise "Operation Maukas Lohi"

Dear Citizens of WarEra,

The Ministry of Defence (who definitely didn't let the Ministry of Foreign Affairs write this... probably) is delighted to announce an upcoming joint military exercise between Latvia and Finland: Operation Maukas Lohi.

Tomorrow (24th of March, Europe time), our nations will engage in coordinated training operation designed to strengthen cooperation, build friendships, and figure out which button actually hits for the correct side.

The Mission:

This exercise is focused on integrating and training new Finnish fighters. Expect a healthy mix of tactical brilliance, accidental maneuvers, and at least one unit going in the complete wrong direction. Latvian forces will be present to guide, assist, and pretend they totally meant for that to happen.

Deployment Orders:

Location: Eastern Finland

Duration: 1-2 days.

Rules of Engagement: Primarily for new Finnish recruits; experienced personnel will supervise, give advice, and occasionally shake their heads in silence. Senior officers will enjoy a "strategic observation mission" aboard a naval vessel, where they will heroically consume large amounts of salmon and call it diplomacy.
