Welcome to War Era and welcome to the UK ! This quick guide will help you get started.
Your First Steps to Success 💰
As a new player, forget about massive damage for now. Focus on making money first !
- allocate your first skill points in Energy (work more often) and Production (boost your work income).
- Companies limit will soon come in handy when you hit the limit and need to increase it to build more factories.
- Entrepeneurship isn't great. You can use the first couple of levels if you have points to spare, but it doesn't give as good results as Energy and Production.
- Management gives very poor results at the moment as you don't make very good money by employing people. This skill is not advised for beginners.
- Don't forget to get a job (working for another player) by heading to the "Companies" menu. Work and earn a wage !

Resource management and the 10 hour rule ⏱️
Your resources increase by 10% every hour, they get full after 10 hours and you start losing points ! Try to log in at least once every 10 hours to spend your stuff. :-)
Missions, go get your xp ! 💂
You get 10 beginner missions when you join the game, 10 daily missions, and 10 weekly missions.
Completing these missions is the only way to earn XP so you should complete as many as you can !
You can reroll missions using the dice icon for free once a day, then it costs coins.
Join a UK Military Unit (MU) ! 💂
Apply to a UK military unit and wait for a commander to accept you in !

Objectives for the first few days ? 💰💰💰
So you've got the hang of doing missions and you're producing more and more cash each day as you level your eco skills, what's next ?
You should be building factories ! Head to the market, get some concrete and steel and start building. 🔨

As a beginner, aim to get at least 3 or 4 companies running and build their automated engines as you go.
Make sure you place your companies in a country that has a good Production bonus for the resource you are making.
It's a good idea to start with limestone, concrete, iron and steel.
So I got a yellow or red item in a box, what do I do ? ✈️
Those are valuable items, as a beginner you should not use them to fight ! You would deal very little damage and they would be wasted.
Instead: sell them on the market and use the money to build companies ! This will kickstart your economy and make you rich on the long term.
Add a UK player as a referrer (optional) 🤗
Adding a player as a referral gets you 10 coins and gives that player a few coins on the long run. If you haven't been referred to the game, consider adding a player as your referrer.
Pick anyone you like, as long as it's an established UK player !
Join our UK Discord (optional) 🤗
You will find the link to the UK discord in the "Country" menu. We discuss strategy, builds, and many less useful things over there. Everyone is free to join, so hop on. :-)
Finally, don't be shy: ask for help 🤗
Game is hell to understand in the first few days. It gives you a gun, points you in a direction, and wishes you the best...
Ask veterans in the UK community for help on any subject, we'll be glad to give you a hand. You can do this in the in-game UK chat, on discord or in DMs...
For example, you can DM https://app.warera.io/user/6882a786c91f768fd3f7278b to ask him what his favorite colour is.
Bonus: Understanding the battle UI
The battle UI looks like this:

The UI is confusing and a common mistake is hitting the wrong side. To support the country on the right, hit the button on the right !
You will find country and MU orders under the attack button. These are used to coordinate into participating in the same battle, try to follow them if you can.
Above the attack button, you will find the battle buff. This increases or decreases the damage you deal and is very important !

A battle is played in the best of 3 rounds. A round is won after one side accumulates 300 ground points.
Countries accumulate ground points through ticks: every 2 minutes, the battle ticks and assigns the indicated quantity of ground points to the side with the current highest damage.
Ticks give more and more ground points as the fight goes on.

Countries can set bounties to encourage players to fight for them ! When fighting in a battle with a bounty, you get a fixed amount of coins from the country for every 1k damage you deal.
