Always looking toward the bright side of life, even if something very wrong happened to you. Instead of questioning, "Why did it happen to me?" we think, "It could have been so much worse. Thank God!"
The biggest problem is that we stay in one mode all our life. In immense gratitude, we stop thinking, "What really is wrong with my life?" and "What needs to be done to change or turn my life around?"
If we keep thinking positively all the time, we may lose track of what satisfaction really is.
A critical approach toward life.
A critical approach simply means asking a lot of questions. Whatever you are doing, have a critical approach toward it.
If you are in school or college and you like a subject, ask critical questions to your teachers (or search online) to understand the subject as clearly and deeply as possible.
If you are doing a job, ask yourself:
What are my wishes in life? (Do I like gaming, or do I want to travel? What is my job income? What are my household expenses? How long would it take me to buy a PS5? How many months do I have to save money if I want to travel? Is my income that low? Why is that? Do I not have the skills? Is that why they are paying me less? Do I have to upgrade my skills?)
You know, all these related questions about the problem and what you want to do in life.
Even if you are misdirected in life and don't know what you are doing, if you have the skill of good critical thinking, most of the time you will ask the right questions and will be good in life in general.
You will rely less on an emotional/superficial approach and more on a grounded/practical approach.
