My best birthday is an advice for everybody

On August 31st, I turned 26.

Today, September 4th, my friends decided to throw me a surprise birthday party, complete with a massive barbecue, an absurd amount of alcohol, and music.

I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this carefree and light, as if life's problems weren't lurking just around the corner, waiting for me like they wait for everyone.

Today, between one can of beer and the next, I would pick up my phone and open WarEra, almost as if it were a spontaneous reflex of my hand, only to close it immediately without even logging in.

I didn't log in.
And I didnt log in because I knew that even if I disappeared for the entire day, everything would be fine.
Nobody would get pissed off because the MoE wasn't doing shit and wasn't logging in, nobody would spam me with messages until I couldn't take it anymore,
and most importantly nobody would judge me.

Just like everything else in life, it all depends on the people you surround yourself with.
And in life, just like on WarEra, I've surrounded myself with people who care about me, even if it's just a little.

You should do the same.

Today was one of those days that, when you're 50, you look back on with faded memories and say things like,
"Ahhh, back when I was happy and didn't even know it."

And WarEra and its community have been a part of that happiness too.

I received birthday wishes from so many people in-game as well;
People who, from my perspective, live on the other side of the planet and have absolutely no reason to take the time to wish me a happy birthday.
People from Japan, the United States, China, South Africa...

I hope you can surround yourself with people like that in your own life.
People who will do that tiny little thing for you, even if it seems insignificant in the moment, but still manages to make you feel a little better and can only make your day brighter.

Surround yourself with people who, even if you don't understand why, genuinely care about you.
