It is my honor to present my candidacy for membership in this esteemed Congress to its distinguished members, driven by my firm belief that public office is a great trust and that bearing such responsibility requires sincerity, integrity, wisdom, and the ability to serve the nation and its institutions with the utmost dedication and competence.
My sincere aspiration to contribute to decision-making, uphold the principles of justice, strengthen the rule of law, and support the path of development and reform has inspired me to stand for this election. I do so with the firm conviction that Libya's national interest must always prevail above all other considerations, and that cooperation among the branches of government and state institutions is the fundamental pillar for building a strong, stable, prosperous, and progressive nation.
The position for which I seek election is not a seat of prestige, personal status, or ambition. Rather, it is a profound responsibility and a solemn trust that we have pledged to uphold in order to protect our homeland, preserve your dignity, represent your voices, and make decisions on your behalf. The Congress is neither a collection of seats nor a platform for slogans and speeches; it is a council where we gather to make sound decisions that serve the interests of our country, fulfill its noble objectives, implement what is required, and support the decisions of our wise Libyan Government whenever we are convinced that they serve the interests of the homeland and its citizens.
Before the Libyan people, we shall remain fully committed to our responsibilities. We shall carry the banner of challenge and distinction—a banner that history will proudly remember for those who strive to bring glory to their nation, keep its flag forever raised, preserve its honorable standing and dignity among nations and peoples, and ensure that our flag remains a symbol of pride, an emblem of honor, and a beacon of greatness that we are all duty-bound to uphold.
I pledge that, should I be honored with the confidence of this esteemed Council and the trust of the noble Libyan nation, I will discharge my duties with complete honesty and responsibility, remaining fully committed to the Constitution, the laws, and the regulations in force. I will strive to be a voice of wisdom, supporting every measure that serves Libya's national interest above all else, safeguarding the dignity of the State and the rule of law, strengthening national unity and social cohesion, and promoting the principles of transparency, accountability, institutional cooperation, and teamwork for the benefit of our nation.
I firmly believe that serving the homeland is not a privilege to be sought, but a duty to be fulfilled and a mission to be carried out with sincerity. It is a pledge of honor and integrity, and I pray to Almighty Allah to grant me success in serving the best interests of our country, to make my efforts devoted solely to the service of Libya and its people, and to guide us all toward what elevates our nation, strengthens its prosperity, and secures its continued progress.
