I have committed a grave, unforgivable sin against the soldiers of WarEra.
For the past 26 days, I have misled you. I have fed you faulty intel. I have watched you walk onto the battlefield with subpar setups, completely oblivious to the fact that the tool you trusted was actively sabotaging your damage output.
If you bought bottom-tier, basement-budget gear over the last month because the tool told you it was "optimal," I need to apologize for real. I didn't mean to turn you into a budget-bin meme. I am repenting for my sins, the code has been cleansed, and the era of accidental poverty builds is officially over.
Here is the truth about what I did to you (and myself).
Remember my big speech about the "Best Value" trap? Where I told you that buying cheaper, high-ratio stat sticks was better than overpaying for top-tier quality?
Yeah, about that. It turns out I forgot how durability works.
The Bug: The gear recommendation engine was calculating item costs based entirely on their flat market price. It completely ignored the fact that damage increases compound and durability use varies across equipment slots (with some even staving off decay). By looking only at the upfront cost, the optimizer thought higher quality tiers were a massive scam, so it constantly nudged everyone into buying the cheapest "value" pieces available on the market.
The Fix: Quality is now scored against your true daily gear cost. The tool now calculates exactly how many copies of an item you burn through per day based on your attack rate and durability decay (boots are MVPs).
If a specific stat contributes a massive chunk of your total damage output, the tool will now correctly tell you to buy higher quality rolls for that slot. You aren't just buying an item; you're buying attacks. The math finally reflects reality.
To prove my penance, I didn't just fix the gear code. I spent the last two weeks building an entirely new set of features so you can plan your next conquest while you optimize your wallet.
World Map (New Feature)
Interactive world map showing all countries and alliances, so you can navigate the existing tools with a new UX/UI.
Conquest diagonal overlays β toggle to show which countries are conquered and by whom; defaults to "conqueror only" view.
Country stats sidebar β click any country to see detail including production specialization, dev level, region count, production bonus (now including ethics), and more.
Tokenless Operation
The app now works without a user token for most features, aiming to provide a better experience for new users.
Request intensive features such as live battle data and damage potential estimation still require you set up your api token. But the provided guide on how to do so has vastly improved.
Economy Page
Overhaul of layout and data presentation (reorganized panels, updated components).
Country view now shows estimated daily income per country, as well as a breakdown of its sources.
Goods view now shows more comprehensive analysis of scrap and cases market.
Military Page
Layout updates across the main military page, active battles (both global and per-MU views), and the new alliance detail page.
Builder
UI and style improvements to the builder interface.
Gear quality/price logic updated.
I have paid my debts to society. Go check the new map, take a look at the markets on the improved economy module and re-optimize your character with actual real math this time (sorry again).

Memes aside, the previous version of the build tool was sub-par. But it was still pretty good. Sure, a 8-11% average damage decrease across 3 weeks might have meant I did almost 10M more damage at just 5% higher cost. But I did okay.
On a personal note, I hit level 50 yesterday! I decided to start working on fixing my economy, which had been constantly on the edge of bankruptcy since I've been full soldier build for more than six months, only to veer straight into absolute poverty during the last tournament (which we won).
To complete the last few contracts I had to downgrade one of my companies to buy the gear set. Of course I made the money back and upgraded the company right back, but my liquidity was that low. Naturally, I did what any self-respecting eco hater would do and I swapped over to case farmer build.
Case farming I can theoretically make between 400-500 a day. But the truth is that I am a degenerate gambler who cannot catch a brake and open T1 and T2s nonstop. So please leave a tip so I can stop gambling away my future and go back to being a soldier, I really don't want to miss the race to 1B damage.
Yours truly,
