When I first opened War Era, my immediate reaction was: “Okay so.. what exactly am I looking at?”. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but in a good way. At first I had no idea what to do, but what most stood out most was how deep everything felt and still feels to be honest.
After day or two I quickly realized how every decision matters when starting off in war era, where to place your first company, which skills to upgrade, whether to focus on economy or military, and how to interact with your country’s politics and alliances.. I felt like I lacked knowledge for this game so I went and browsed articles for new players, props to our player from Croatia Splicko for making good guide for us on our language.
Another big impression was how alive the world feels. You’re not just playing alone; you’re joining a country, interacting with other players, applying for citizenship, joining parties, and potentially fighting in coordinated wars, that's something you don't see in many games out there. It’s less about being the strongest solo player and more about building something together.
I am excited that this game is getting updates, community is just amazing for this game. I know there are people that argue between nations especially here in the balkans, hopefully we can make things at ease at some point here.
