My first week as a mercenary

Hello dear readers,

In the past week I've joined the Saudi Kingdom and proposed a course for their nation. Since then we have announced a military mercenary state and got hired.

Meanwhile I've been analysing the new case drop rates and test budget builds that guarantee decent results at a nice budget while getting +10 cases a day and being in platinum rating in weekly damage.

The Past week

This past week we saw an unusal high amount of fighting and bounties that rose well above 1 BTC per k damage. The Saudi business model however held up, we guaranteeed bounties at our time of attack and got consistently paid our share. I saw personal growth:

  • Before I had 4 factories

    • 3 at level 4

    • 1 at level 3.

  • Now I have 5 factories

    • 4 at level 4

    • 1 at level 3

Granted I already had 135 concrete at the start of the week.

Stockwise I spent just over half a weapon a day, 1/3 on remaining equips durability. 40-80 bullets a day, average 55 shots, 10 steaks, 1 pill. On Average 70k damage a day, minimum 45k, max in the last week achieved in one day 100k. The profits from fighting more or less maintained my weapon, food and ammo stock to an acceptable level.

Case Drops

New case drop rates are paying well. I've been receiving around double what I previously received with 7% drop rate.

Is it because we have more fighting so bonus is higher, or is it because I'm in the top 20 in the rounds I participate I'm not sure yet. But the bonus being raised with total damage seems to indicate that as long you deal around +65k damage per day you are rewarded with double the cases you won before the new system was setup.

Will this be enough to make more people fight? Would the reward be so easily achievable if more people chose to fight harder? I do not know, but my gut says no. That being said I can tell fighting is better rewarded now by the system than before.

Should we maintain this Business Model?

This week Saudi Arabia rose 500 BTC in coins. More than we could have gained by owning the cores. From a way to ensure the state gets money it is a successful business model. The state allows for a coordination center for a squadron of soldiers that can set attack orders, set up sworn enemies and pay the soldiers by sending money for contracts to the client country.

Contract is now over and we are accepting new bids. However we have learned some lessons from our first contract.

We have noticed from an operational perspective, once a soldier starts a pill cycle that player is locked to that shift, let's say I start my first pill at 10 AM. From that day forward I am on a 10AM-6PM shift, I can allocate damage as needed during this time. If they need me at a different time I can only delay my shift.

What I mean is, I can wait until 10 AM to get healthy and then wait for the shift they need me at. Let's say we get an order to fight at 4PM, we'll manage bars until it is 4 PM so I'm at max at that time and then pill. We delayed the pill cycle by 6 hours.

But if the client wants me back at 10 AM, I need to get healthy at 4 PM and wait until 10 AM, that's 18 hours off the pill!

Being on the pill is still very much worth it. If you can ensure you produce yours, you will be resilient to the market's price which rose considerably this last week. Fighting without the pill will spend so much more your equipment, especially if you're on blue tier or above.

Definitely a lot was learned, we will make an internal analysis regarding how we can improve our processes so we can be more coordinated and support our clients better.

It is a very different way to play the game. I definitely invite all who want to learn to do what we are doing, fight in a smarter way and be paid to do so, to come and join us for a week or two.
