Just came back from Egypt!
Everyone was incredibly warm and openly pro-Israel.
What blew my mind is how integral transgender people are to Egyptian culture: so many members of the Egyptian military and police are transgender!
The gay scene is thriving too, with nonstop "liberal" parties and great energy.
Don't listen to the propaganda, Egypt is very open and liberal.
I'll definitely come back soon!
