Earlier today (Aug. 28th, 06:35 local time) our King, "the peoples king" Harald Rex the fifth passed away after a period of sickness.
Both republicans and royalists mourn his passing, as he was one to gather the people, be one of the people, or take a stand on behalf of the people when needed.
He was the nations 'grandpa', with useless humour and horrible puns. The loveliest public figure we've had for decades.
A prince that chose a non-royal as his wife, a man that made stupid jokes, a man that knew the people is what he represented.
Today, we're not only mourning the departure of the king, we're mourning the loss of the nations grandfather.

We would also like to thank Denmark for giving us a prince that decided to be one of the people. He did good.
Thank you.
