Not One Soldier for the Foreigner

This president’s administration is not merely incompetent. It is something far more severe: it is inexplicable. And the inexplicable, in a man wielding absolute power over our nation, is not clumsiness—it is treason.

How can the surrender of California be justified to any Mexican? In whose interest was it done? Not for the Mexican people. Not for our history. It was for the sake of foreign powers that move our soldiers like mere pawns on a board we were never permitted to see.

And as if that were not enough: Hawaii. We dispatched our soldiers to die in the Pacific, far from their homeland, far from their families, to fight a battle that defies any possible justification. For what did Mexico bleed?

What occurred in those campaigns has no dignified name in any military manual. It can only be described for what it truly was: a massacre orchestrated through cowardice and foreign subservience.

His decisions hold no logic for his allies. They hold no logic for his enemies. They hold no logic for anyone because they were not made with Mexico in mind. They were made with "the other" in mind.

And now, as Chile strikes our territory, while our ancestral soil is being trampled by enemy forces, this president divides the army. He calls upon our soldiers to defend a foreign people with the same priority with which he should be defending the very land that gave them birth.

That is not strategy! That is abandonment! That is the abdication of Mexico while wearing the mask of its Governor!
