Since I've heard about growing activity of attempts to destabilize some countries and show the facts very selectively, let's refresh our memory with have some kind of "guide" (not sure which term will be applicable).
As you may notice, recent world war still on, with some rebellions here and there and sometimes sparking again after being burned down in fast and large-scale conflict.
And more and more voices began to chant "Being occupied in solely Ukraine's fault" or "Governement is responsible to what you can see on the map". Probably same could be heard about Romania, Serbia, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and many others.
Yes, if you was a witness of war for only a few weeks, it might looks like agressors were punished and lost control of core territories. But you miss the background history, and I'll try to fill in the blanks!
For me, history of this world began from one particular event, which any of voices I mentioned before, seems to ignore and pretend it never happened.
I'm talking about dismantling of Romanian's (and Hispano-Portuguese) empire. You might have been surprised, but world looked different those days. It's possible I missed all the fronts on that war, so apologies to whom I might unfairly omited in the depiction of events.

How does it applicable to us, or to claims that "Ukraine started it" etc?
The previous world war we were more an observer, since Ukraine had Non-Agresion pact with Turkie active, so it prevented us from full-scale help or opening new frontline (for example, on Black Sea).

Why introduction is so long? Why events are not fresh? Why do I think this is a guide? Idk, to put some context in the heads. Ofc, that's not chronicles or whatever, but I wanted to show, that there is more to it, than simple "We started the last war".
