https://app.warera.io/country/6813b6d446e731854c7ac7e8 hosts on behalf of the WarEra community, the First WEFA World Cup! A global Haxball tournament with an in-game cash prize. Plus, giveaways that gonna be announced as we roll through the summer.

To make this possible, we began the establishment of a secure Discord server environment, plan to form a coordinating committee, and outline & verify the fairness of the draw for the upcoming rounds, from the group stage all the way to the Final.

Just as in real life, the goal of such an event is to strengthen relations, have a good time, and send a message of unity as a community.

Each country may express interest to participate until 14th of June 2026, 12:00pm GMT.

Depending on the number of participating countries, corresponding groups will be formed, and then a date and time will be set for the group draw, which will be streamed live on Discord, the channel will be accessible to everyone!

At this point, we should note that the country hosting the event will be the one to collect the entry fees, and thus the entire prize pool, which it will then pay out to the winning country! All matches will be held on Haxball.com via private hosted sessions broadcasted on the WEFA Discord Server.

To ensure the quality of the games, there will be opportunities for friendly matches (think of it as practice) in which all teams can invite any team they want to practice and ensure their connection one week before the start of the group stage.

The entry fee is expected to be around 150-200 BTC for each country. And the winning prize around 7,000K BTC.
(These numbers are calculated based on 35 Participations, the Association's goal)

In the event that a team wishes to withdraw or is unable to compete, the entry fee would not be refunded after the trial period ends, as it will then constitute the prize pool for all competitors. Clearly, to avoid such scenarios, the organizing committee confirms in advance that, depending on the situation, changes and postponements of matches will be permitted.

Brief Timeline of the upcoming events:

Creation of "Interest List", including all countries willing to participate, in order to calculate entry fees & winning prize - express interest till 14th of June 2026, 12:00pm GMT

Opening of the WEFA Discord Server - till 16th of June 2026

Country Registrations Deadline - 12:00pm GMT, 21th of June 2026
