Dough:
2 or 3cups All-purpose flour or bread flour
1 tsp Instant yeast
1 tsp Sugar & 1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Olive oil or melted butter
1 cup Warm water or milk (for a softer dough)
Chicken Marination (Tikka/Fajita):
250g-500g Boneless chicken, cubed
1 tbsp Yogurt
1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp Red chili powder/flakes (adjust for spice)
1 tsp Tikka masala or Cumin powder
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Salt to taste
Toppings & Assembly:
Pizza sauce or Ketchup
Creamy Sauce: Mix 3 tbsp Mayonnaise + 1 tbsp Cream +
tsp Garlic powder
Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese, shredded
Sliced capsicum, onions, black olives, jalapenos
Dried oregano/red chili flakes for seasoning
Instructions
Make Dough: Mix yeast and sugar in warm water/milk, let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy. Mix with flour, salt, and oil. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Cook Chicken: In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, add marinated chicken and cook until tender and dry (no moisture left).
Assemble: Roll out the dough and place on a pizza tray. Poke with a fork. Spread pizza sauce, then a layer of cheese, followed by the cooked chicken and vegetables. Top with more cheese.
Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C-200°C for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Serve: Drizzle the creamy mayo sauce over the top before serving.
Tips for "Desi" Style
Creamy Base: Apply a mix of mayo and yogurt instead of pure tomato sauce for that authentic, creamy taste.
Bakery Style: Make smaller, thicker crust, personal-sized pizzas.
No Oven: Cook on a tawa (skillet) covered with a lid on very low heat for 10-12 minutes.
