Peace Treaty between Yemen and The Federation

The Government of the Republic of Yemen announces that the Republic of Yemen and The Federation have concluded and signed a bilateral treaty which reflects the shared commitment of both sides to resolving matters through diplomacy and maintaining constructive relations.

The treaty establishes a formal non-aggression agreement between Yemen and all member states of The Federation, setting out the obligations of both Parties regarding the maintenance of peaceful relations and the resolution of disputes in accordance with its provisions.

The treaty further provides for the rental of agreed strategic regions to Yemen under the terms set forth therein, together with the rights and obligations governing those arrangements.

The full text of the treaty has been agreed by the duly authorized representatives of both Parties and shall enter into force in accordance with its provisions.
