Please see below on why Germany should change it's map colour:
1) Purple is a Roman Empire colour which Germany is not.
Germany has only ever been historically fake Roman, so to take the colour of the Roman Empire is fake LARP. Leave the fake Roman LARP to the professionals like Romania or Turkey.
2) Aesthetically Unpleasant
Honestly it's an eyesore to look at. Normally I'm one to support your revolts and give you my 3k damage to see you on the map but with this colour, another wipe might be well deserved.
3) Prussians are rolling in their Graves
Even for a map painting game, Purple is just too far. If Germany's colour was purple irl, I don't think even Fredrick would take the crown, gutter or not.
4) Better Colours
There are so many better colours to choose from like grey, burgundy, red, white... Yellow? Why even pick purple? I could probably look up your laws and see but being Canadian and only speaking one language, it be impossible to decipher your reasoning with all of your ë ô ī ù. All I know is the end result is a gross eyesore of a purple blob smack dead in the middle of Europe. If I was any other European, I'd be ashamed of my neighbours map colour.
