🏛️ PRESIDENTIAL STATEMENT
SUBJECT: Indonesian Occupation of Philippine Regions
To the PEOPLE OF THE REPUBLIC,
We have been occupied. This is the reality of our situation. We lost battles in very close margins.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for putting up a good fight. It might not be enough but there is growth and an overwhelming potential for every single citizen of this country. It is with your efforts and contributions that we have a great deal of damage in our battles. Salamat sa partisipasyon at kontribusyon.
We did what we could, it is a very hard decision to make but one that is needed. Build up on your comps and eco, save and stockpile on equipments, be ready when the call to fight again comes. We have been defeated but we will never surrender. This is by no means a message of surrender. We are Filipinos and we never give up, even if our backs are against the wall. We always come back up and fight.
I know that the battles have taken a toll on the morale of not just the citizens but of the government as well. I would also like to thank our ministry officials and the rest of the government for doing the best they can. Allotting a lot of their time and effort not just with the battles but with the nation building aspects as well. Salutations to each and every one of you. I couldn't have picked better ministers than you. Thank you.
We have to fight smart and it starts with the decision to focus on your comps, stockpiles, and eco. Heads up, chins up. We will rise up. We will fight again. Tandaan, sa manlulupig hindi tayo pasisiil. From here on out we only go onwards and forwards.
