The second foreign affairs report ever! These are strangely satisfying to make (vatou if you're reading this please let us headline text without it making everything else become big headline, thank you) to me for some reason…

Yo. First things first – for the future FA Reports – I want it to be chill, which is new to me, coz it’ll be much more easy to do and I want this to be personal with those who are reading this

Since this is a draft by the former MoFA, I just thought to just leave some of her inputs here. In the future it’ll be my own anyway so no rush :)

I hope that with what has happened so far, this will provide a sense of relief to you my fellow Filipinos and a glimpse of what we in the government is doing. (Seiryu’s Note)

1. MoFA Transition

-As a former member of congress, responsibilities are not new to me. At first, I wanted to return to my time as an ordinary citizen and provide insights with current government officials. Considering that I am a student, I couldn't always be online for voting laws or to always be in a good mood for conversations because academic works are taxing :(

-However, I think what changed my mind was how in need the government is of capable people. It doesn't sit right with me to just stay out and retire when I have more to offer. Hence, I took a risk and submitted my name to be the new MoFA. Tho it is overstimulating to be a member of so many discord servers (each country has their own server), I am here to stay ;D

2. Embassies

-True to Filipino culture of being friend to everyone, we have connected officially by establishing embassies with several countries, including, but not limited to:

•Colombia

•Eritrea

•United States of America

•Sudan

•Venezuela

-This is a continuation of my predecessor’s task to connect the Philippines to the world. I hope we can connect with more countries and for them to know that the Philippines is always open for new horizons.

3. Treaties

-For the last three weeks, we have signed treaties with various countries, primarily a defensive pact with certain countries, including, but not limited to:

•France

•United States of America

•The Netherlands

-Congress also passed in-game alliances to certain countries which you can check on our Country's tab.

-Via AF we have a NAP with Brazil so yeah that's it.

4. Future Plans

-I’ll try to be concise and keep this short. First with our allies, it is my intention to make an official document containing our agreement (whether a defensive pact, MDA, etc.). It is my belief that this secures our agreements and is not limited to just verbal ones. This serves as a documentation for a set of rules that both parties must abide by.

-Next is the creation of a diplomatic team, this is a bit of a pipedream. There is much to do and one can't do it all. I am grateful to the government staff (not mentioning coz I don't want to politicize this but you guys know yourself), but MoFA cannot rely on you alone because you all have things to do. I am still working on the specifics and I would prefer that this team will be composed of ordinary citizens, who are willing to learn and help me with MoFA’s vision. With more people we can efficiently connect the Philippines to the world.

-This is a project by my predecessor and that is the establishment of diplomatic hubs per continent (yes even Antarctica, we can trade with penguins there). This is intriguing so I’ll ask them what would be the initial setup of this.

-I’ll update you my fellow Filipinos and adherents of the Baddiest faith to changes and development in MoFA, should there be any.

5. Inquiries

-Should there be anything you want to say or suggest to MoFA, don't hesitate to message me in-game and in discord. I will be replying as soon as I’m able to.

The Philippines is steadily growing, and I couldn't be more thankful for the allies and friends from around the world who have helped me make these progress reports possible as well. I hope we get to have many more talks with each other, as well as valuable memories that we can share with one another. <3 (Vvenne’s note)

It is my intent to continue doing this for as long as I am able to. For our allies, rivals, and everything in between – I intend to connect with y’all and to offer the Philippines’ culture of openness through me.
