A tool that lets you dive into WarEra’s election history, parliament compositions, and political trends –and now it just got a major interface update. Nothing has changed in the data (the APIs are still the same), but how you interact with it is now smoother, more flexible, and easier on the eyes!

Here’s what’s new.

🌓 Light mode has arrived

You asked, you waited, and now it’s here. The dark theme is still the default for all you night‑shift commanders, but you can now switch to a clean light theme with a single click. The switch remembers your preference, and all charts, tables, and the parliament SVG adapt instantly.

🧩 Panels you can collapse, expand, and drag

Every major section is now an independent panel. Click the ▼ / ▲ arrow to collapse or expand any panel – perfect for focusing on what interests you.

And you can drag & drop the panels by their title bar to reorder them exactly how you like. Your custom layout is saved automatically and restored the next time you visit.

In the Congress view, the two‑column grid adapts to a single column when you close one of the charts. In the Presidential view, panels stay in a single vertical column, keeping things clean and readable.

📱 Mobile browsing is finally comfortable

On small screens, the layout now behaves:

• Tables scroll horizontally instead of breaking.

• The parliament SVG has a minimum width but can be scrolled if needed.

• Statistics rearrange into two columns, panels get slimmer padding, and charts keep their readability.

No more zooming and panning like you’re decoding a treasure map.

🏛️ Government panel – see who runs the country

When you look at the most recent presidential election, a dedicated panel shows the current government:

• President

• Vice President

• Ministers of Defense, Economy, and Foreign Affairs

Avatars, usernames (with profile links), and party affiliations are displayed. Switch country, and the government updates automatically. Look at an older election, and the panel disappears – because that government belongs to the past.

📊 Charts get a theme‑aware polish

• Seats Distribution (doughnut) and Members per Party (bar) now have borders and colours that match the light/dark theme.

• All parties by members (horizontal bar) highlights parties with at least one seat: bold text, high‑contrast colour (black in light mode, white in dark mode). The rest stay in the background.

• The Congress election timeline also respects the theme and lets you click on any point to load that election directly.

⚙️ Extra goodies

• Export CSV – download the party table as a CSV file.

• Fullscreen parliament – click the ⛶ button to view the parliament SVG in fullscreen mode.

• Clear cache – a small button that empties the local API cache, useful when you want to force fresh data.
