Portugal has history, empire, saudade, a pastel de nata, a Super Bock and Moonspell blasting “Alma Mater” loudly enough to wake every ancestor from Porto to the Algarve.

We didn’t invent gothic metal.

We just made it Portuguese, gave it centuries of darkness and somehow made everyone else sound underseasoned.
