🗳 Presidential Elections Begin
Today marks the official beginning of the Presidential Elections within War Era. Candidates from across the political spectrum have formally entered the race, each presenting their vision for the future of their nations and the broader global stage.
This election represents a defining moment — not only for individual countries, but for the balance of power, diplomacy, and stability across the world.
We extend our best wishes to every candidate stepping forward. Leadership requires courage, and participation strengthens the legitimacy of the system as a whole. May this election bring strong leadership, responsible governance, and a brighter future for many nations throughout War Era.
🇳🇱 Dutch Consolidation in the British Isles
The Netherlands now maintains full control over the United Kingdom and Ireland, following recent military campaigns. England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are all under occupation.
As part of this consolidation, the Netherlands has transferred control of a portion of England to Belgian forces in support of allied operations. Meanwhile, local populations in Ireland and England attempted revolts, which were not successful but indicate that resistance will continue and future uprisings are likely.
Dutch forces are currently regrouping and securing their positions. This occupation provides strategic control of key territories and potential staging routes across the Atlantic.
🇱🇺 Luxembourg–Germany Peace Agreement
Just three hours ago (as of 10:59 GMT +0), Luxembourg and Germany formally reached a peace agreement following recent military escalation. Despite the ceasefire, Luxembourg retains control over Saxony, Bavaria, and the Rhineland — territories captured during the rapid offensive.
While open conflict has ended, the territorial outcome marks a significant geopolitical shift in Central Europe. Whether this peace proves stable or temporary remains to be seen.
🇺🇸 United States Leadership Sanctions
A recent ban involving the U.S. President has raised concerns within the international community.
The following is a Statement from the U.S. President:
“I was using OperaVPN because the connection from our servers to the Americas was lagging due to a recent spike in traffic.
The day before, I was trying to understand the issue and believed a VPN might help. I suspected the problem was related to a load balancer or routing issue, and using a VPN was a way to rule those possibilities out.
When I logged in successfully, I informed Vatou about the situation, and he was able to find a solution. The unban happened quickly because I had already explained what I was trying to achieve by using the VPN.
The next day the issue was fixed for our continent, so it was a risk I was willing to take.
Vatou warned me that I could be banned, but I still believed it was worth attempting to help resolve the problem."
In my honest opinion, this was done in good faith to assist in identifying the issue, not to gain any unfair advantage.
