To all friends of Portugal and to all men and women of goodwill,
During the Great War, the soldiers of the Portuguese Expeditionary Corps fought side by side with their British comrades in the trenches of Flanders. Bound by the centuries-old Anglo-Portuguese Alliance, our nations stood together in defence of honour, loyalty and duty.
Today, in War Era, that same spirit of brotherhood lives on.
The Portuguese Expeditionary Corps (CEP) proudly marches alongside its ally, B.E.E.R., united by friendship, mutual support and a common purpose. Just as the Portuguese soldiers once found trusted comrades among the British, we now find in B.E.E.R. brothers and sisters in arms.
At present, the CEP is engaged in the expansion of its barracks and dormitories in order to strengthen our ranks and prepare for the future.
We therefore appeal to all our friends, allies and supporters, both Portuguese and foreign, to contribute to this undertaking.
Every coin donated to the CEP is one more round of ammunition in defence of our common cause.
Those who support the Corps today help build a stronger and more prosperous future for our alliance.
For Portugal, for our Allies, and for the Fulfilment of Duty!
