Hello everyone!
I started playing a couple of weeks ago, and I thought it could be useful to share a few quick tips for new players. I know there is already some good guidance out there, but as a new player myself, I felt it would be helpful to sum up the key takeaways for those who are just trying the game and may not want to spend too much time searching for information before deciding if they’re fully committed.
At least, this is what I would have liked when I started, I wasted quite a lot in my first couple of days.
💰 Make the Most of Every Penny
1) In the early game, experience (EXP) is everything—always complete available missions.
2) Use a referral from somebody in your country (you both benefit from it, I think it is 10 gold upon reaching a certain level).
3) Resources are limited, so efficiency is key. Your main focus should be building a strong economy:
Invest your skill points in production and energy
Add only a couple of points into entrepreneurship
Fight using white equipment only. Sell everything else, preferably for cash. I wasted a few blue items I could sell for cash to speed up upgrades for my companies.
Every small saving adds up at this stage.
🏭 Use Your Companies Wisely
Managing companies efficiently makes a huge difference early on.
1) Hire workers for cheap, don’t overpay! It is better to rotate workers than overpay and run out of money
2) Changing production or relocating a company costs 5 concrete, so don’t go random. Start with limestone and concrete, then iron and steel.
3) Upgrade each company to level 4 (automated engine) before opening a new one
4) Stick to the 4 workers cap at the beginning. You cannot afford more salaries yet
5)If you hire workers, consider upgrading storage by one level
⚔️Combat can wait
Until around level 15, you won’t do meaningful damage in fights anyway, so don’t waste resources here. Instead:
Focus on building a solid economic base. Aim for 8–12 companies at level 4. Use your combat points to support your country or UM (and for the chance to get a crate) but don’t invest anything in military skills and gear yet.
Don’t worry about food early on. Only use it when required for missions.
This game has great potential, and getting the early stages right makes everything much smoother later on.
Hope this helps some of you avoid the same mistakes I made. Good luck and enjoy the game!
