here's what i'd bring: i work in foreign affairs. I sit in other countries' spaces and talk to their governments. most of what i pick up never makes it back here.
alliances shift, countries change sides, people you thought were with us quietly aren't. you see the end result. the why usually stays in a conversation somewhere, and i'm often in that conversation. that's the gap.
we're at almost zero regions. upcoming month is rebuild decisions — who we work with, what we spend, when we move. i'd like someone in congress who's actually been in those rooms.
