Hello once again!
Last term you gave me the most votes of any candidate!
I want to earn that again, so here's what I did with it and what I'll do next.
What I did with the seat
Congress didnt come with a job description, so I got stuck in, came up with some of my own work rather than waiting to be handed some and managed to be actively involved in every decision congress was involved in.
I stayed contactable. I shared information about current discussions and votes (sometimes to my own detriment) and ensured that my votes in congress were directly from the people who messaged me throughout my term and whi gave feedback on how they thought the decisions should go.
It is still possible to message me on Discord or in-game and you get an answer.
What I'd do next term
Keep working for the people. Congress is there to represent you, so I'll keep making sure your voices continue to be heard. If you raise something with me, it gets taken to the House and you hear back what happened.
Keep pushing for defined roles in Congress. Members were elected and many are ready to contribute. Though some fell quiet others have been very active in making a space for themselves.
Keep pushing for visibility. Citizens shouldn't have to guess what Congress is discussing or what government is trying to achieve. I'll keep pressing for more open channels, regular updates and plain-English summaries, I am still looking to get a weekly "town hall meeting" or summary article together.
Why vote for me again
Same reasons as last time, and I'm still the same person. I'm active, easy to reach, and I stay out of the drama. I'm not here for a title. I want Congress to be useful, and I'll keep showing up and doing the work.
