Have you ever looked at your country and thought, "You know what we need? A war with Venezuela." If the answer is yes, congratulations! You are probably making a terrible decision, but at least you are thinking big.
First, declaring war would definitely make your country more interesting. People might finally pay attention to international politics instead of boring things like taxes or whether you are actually a good president or not. Suddenly, everyone would become a geopolitics expert and start giving their opinions without knowing anything.
Another advantage is that your military would finally have something to do. Soldiers could march around, generals could make dramatic speeches, and someone could probably create a very impressive map with arrows pointing in every direction.
So, why declare war on Venezuela? Because apparently, peaceful international relations are just not exciting enough. Who needs diplomacy when you can create an international crisis instead?
