Here's a draft:
Remember, Remember — What Comes Next
One year down. The hat has been distributed. The cake-bread has been consumed. And now, as the dust settles on Warera's first anniversary, one question lingers in the air like Russia's 425th liberation attempt:
What happens in year two?
The French developer will, presumably, return from his travels. Whether this means bigger anniversary gifts or simply a slightly faster ban hammer — only time will tell. But hope, as they say, is free. Unlike the cases.
Speaking of which, the red equipment drought will continue. It must. The RNG gods did not construct their cruel machinery to be dismantled by a second year of goodwill. One person will get lucky. The rest of us will watch.
On the world stage, South Africa will finish conquering everything, Morocco will either take Madrid or get bored trying, and the Balkans will remain magnificently, defiantly chaotic. Indonesia and the Philippines will still be at it — locked in their eternal ping-pong war, two years deep, no end in sight. Russia will reach attempt number 600. The US may or may not reappear.
GoonEra's website will get an update. It will run slightly worse.
New legends will emerge. Old ones will return. Someone with three days of playtime will write the most detailed geopolitical analysis the community has ever seen.
And through all of it — the wars, the bans, the hats, the drama and Warera will endure. Chaotic, absurd, and somehow, against all odds, alive.
Remember, remember. Year two has only just begun.
Fun fact: While you were reading this speculation, someone opened another 70 cases. Still nothing red.
