I write from the cathedral in Luik and I write this quickly.
Germans are on the warpath. They have broken through the eastern border with tanks. Flattening Limburg in their wake. They are on their path to Luik and some of their forces are pushing up from the south. From the intel we got they had troops garissoned in Luxembourg that have joined their main force.
The Belgium Armed Forces hit with all their might at Luik and obliterarted a chunk of their army at the start of the war. Jets were flown into battle to meet their tanks. Our very own tanks rolled out as well, but ultimately they were with too many. We had to fall back.
Luik has fallen.
The people of Walloon have already been evacuated to Brussels, but I'm not sure how many more people we can keep sending there, some are being sent to Flanders as well. More on this later.
We need more support, have we heard from our allies? We got the news about the Dutch, but what about our allies to the east? Have the French responded?
We will make our next stand at Namur.
We hope to end their pace there.

Update, I write from the Citadelle of Namur. We have retreated. They have not yet come into the city.
We are currently making a stand at the borders of Namur. Some French have been spotted, but they are being pressured by wars too, as well as discord in their own country. Our main allies in this battle are Egypt and Lithuania. We are proud to call them brothers. Reliable as always.
As the Dutch have fallen, we cannot call on them for aid. I wished we could have stopped their country from being invaded, but alas. We failed there.
I am going to be honest, Mr President, It does not look good here. Their numbers are simply too great to fight against. Every time we take out one of their tanks another takes its place. Even with the help of our allies I fear that Namur will fall. Then, after that, they will conquer every city to the borders of Brussels.
There is not much hope, but we are fighting valiantly nonetheless.
The Belgian Black Devils have taken up the spearhead with the Royal Air force for support as the Belgium Armed Forces have taken heavy losses at the battle of Luik. The Schtroumpfs have done what they can, eventhough it is much less than what we expected. They have been plagued these past few weeks with injuries and sickness. They are fighting with even less then half their manpower. We hope they recover soon.
As I said Mr. President, it does not look good, but we can sure as hell be proud of our warriors. They have held off the Germans for quite some time already whilst they outnumber is 4 to 1.
Even if we lose, at least we can be proud.
P.S: If Namur falls, we will fall back to the capital with as many as can survive.
