RIDDLE ME THIS

I'm a ship that sails without water, crewed by two or more.
Often formed on playgrounds, at school, university, work, parties, bars to name a few. I grow when shared and can last a lifetime.

Distance can't break me, but neglect slowly can.

I'm there in good times and bad, and I never keep score.
You can't buy me, but you can lose me.
