Rumblings of An Old MP

Well, it wasn’t too long, but I’m back in Parliament.

Before I go any further, I want to thank everyone who voted for me. It’s not every day you come out as the top candidate, but that’s exactly what happened yesterday, and I genuinely appreciate the support.

A few months ago, I wrote about stepping back from Congress as I took on the role of Minister of Economy. The idea was simple. Give others the chance to step up and build the next generation of leaders. And to be fair, we did see people put their hands up, which was excellent.

But last month showed us where things can go wrong.

We had a congressman banned, and more importantly, we had a Congress that struggled to act when it mattered most. There were multiple instances where we were just one vote short of passing an alliance or sworn enemy law.

Those delays don’t just sit there. They cost us. We’re likely talking about hundreds of thousands in lost damage because decisions weren’t made in time.

I’m not here to blame anyone. What’s done is done. And despite that, I’m proud of what we achieved.

We made the Asian Federation look like a joke. And now they are the joke (India the biggest of them all)!

Turkey is crumbling. Indonesia is liberated. Sri Lanka is liberated. Pakistan is being liberated. That didn’t happen by accident.

That was our doing, and I’m proud to claim that win for all of us.

As we continue to push forward and liberate ourselves, it’s clear we need a Congress that is responsive, reliable and ready to act. That’s why I put my hand up again.

I’m looking forward to this term and working with all of you to keep that momentum going.

And if you’re new to the game, don’t hesitate to jump into the Discord. We’re always up for a bit of banter, and more importantly, we’re happy to help you learn and get up to speed!
